Plantar Pain test

In this test, you can measure pain hypersensitivity in short period of time while also providing heat stimulation to subject under unconstrained conditions. Furthermore, this test measures the escape response through the higher central nervous system rather than the spinal reflex. Infrared sensors automatically detect when the subject raises their foot during testing. The level of heat stimulation can be adjusted by volume, also there is the option to check and modify the levels in numeric values as well. One advantageous feature is that the heat- flux portion is designed to be smaller for easier visibility of the subject’s foot during testing.
